Precisionaire Industrial Grade Air Filters

1/2", 1", and 2" industrial grade air filters for central air systems and furnaces.

Designed for use in any application where disposable panel filters are recommended. They can be relied upon for superior performance since they are specifically designed for heavy workloads. The frame is made from heavy, moisture-resistant chipboard in a one-piece design that eliminates corner separation. Punched metal grids on both sides support the media.

A heavy-duty performance.

PSF air filters are made the same way as the Precisionaire Heavy Duty air filter, but with polyester synthetic fiber air filtration media. In some tests, PSF has shown somewhat higher average arrestance than spun glass media. PSF is soft and easy to handle and provides effectives filtration without the use of oily tackifiers. PSF is extremely resilient and will withstand direct moisture.

Construction

FRAME is made with heavy chipboard in a one-piece design to prevent corner separation.

FILTERING MEDIUM is made with 100% high bulk polyester fibers that are thermo bonded with a fire retardant resin.

MEDIA SUPPORT is achieved with punched metal grids on both sides of the filtering medium that results in a very rugged filter.

SEALING together of all components is done with tough, hot-melt adhesive running the full perimeter of the frame on both upstream and downstream sides.

UL CLASS II - Precisionaire offers PSF filters classified as Class II for flammability.
