Airguard Industries Clean-Pak Extended Surface Pocket Filters

High & Medium Efficiency air filters for commercial and hospital applications.

  • Dual Layer Synthetic Media
  • Four Efficiencies - Color Coded
  • Low Resistance
  • Unaffected by High Humidity or Moisture
  • Rugged Construction

Clean-Pak filters manufactured with synthetic media are particularly well suited for applications where use of fiberglass media may be restricted. Synthetic media offers lower resistance than fiberglass at the same airflow rate and is unaffected by high humidity or moisture.

Microfine Synthetic Media Provides High Efficiency, Low Resistance

Clean-Pak filters are made with a high loft; melt blown synthetic fiber media is protected on the air leaving side by a high strength spun bonded synthetic scrim backing.

Unique Interlocking Retainer Design Secures Pockets, Enhances Appearance

The metal retainers that form the mouth of each pocket interlock with each other and are mechanically crimped under high pressure to permanently fasten the pockets together inside the header. A bead of adhesive applied around the inner perimeter of the header adds additional bonding reinforcement to the pocket attachment. This fail-safe high-pressure bonded construction prevents leakage or pocket separation under high airflow, turbulent or heavy dirt loading conditions.

Airguard's unique interlocking pocket retainer design also seals the media edges creating a clean, finished appearance. Compare Clean-Pack to competitive pocket filters - no ugly media edges protrude beyond the front face of the filter.

Triple Seal Sonic Welding Creates High Burst Strength

A sonic sealing process using ultra high frequency sound forms clean-Pak pockets. Sonic welding securely bonds the layers of media creating high burst strength to maintain pocket integrity at high resistance or under turbulent conditions. For extra protection against pocket failure, the sonic sealing process is applied in a triple weld pattern. Fail-safe operation is assured under all operating conditions.

Fabric Ribbon Separators Control Pocket Inflation

Ribbons of polypropylene fabric are sonic welded inside the pockets to create aerodynamic channels allowing air to flow smoothly through the filter. Resistance is minimized, extending filter life. Pocket inflation is precisely controlled to prevent adjacent pockets is fully utilized increasing dust holding capacity.

Typical applications include:
  • Hospitals
  • Food Processing
  • Pharmaceutical Production
  • Paint Spray Booths
  • Schools
  • Office Complexes
  • Public Arenas
  • General Industrial
