High Output UV Light Technology Effectively Kills Microorganisms

Ultraviolet (UV) light "germicidal lamps" have been used for over 70 years to kill the same kind of microorganisms that are known to cause indoor air quality problems. The Bio•Aire system kills existing microbial growth, prevents new growth from developing and kills microorganisms on the fly by.

Safe to Install and Operate

The Bio•Aire UV system poses no health risk to occupants or maintenance personnel as long as the standard Safety Precautions (available on request) are followed. UV energy kills microorganisms without producing ozone or other secondary contamination. A proprietary coating on the inside of the patented Bio•Aire UV tube prevents transmission of lower wavelength UV light (less than 200 nm) thereby eliminating ozone production.
